Joe Hoff - President
Term ends June 2013
Joe and his wife, Lynn, have two children attending SCS. He and his family attend Crossroads Bible Church in Bellevue, Washington. Joe also serves as a Children’s Leader in the Bellevue Men’s Bible Study Fellowship class. Joe and his partners in Coram Deo Consulting Group provide services in forensic and investigative accounting, business valuation, and merger and acquisition consulting. He has a BSME from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Sheri Barronian - Vice-President
Term ends June 2013
Sheri graduated from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy in 1982. She worked as a pharmacist for eight years before starting her family. Sheri and her husband, Alan, have four children. Three have graduated from Seattle Christian and one is currently enrolled. They attend Jesus Christ Salt and Light Church in Des Moines.
Steven Straume - Secretary
Term ends October 2015
Steve received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1982. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law in 1987. Steve currently serves as a Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals Judge in Thurston County. Steve and his wife, Corrine, have two children attending Seattle Christian. Steve and his family attend St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Federal Way.
Suzy Kumasaka - Treasurer
Term ends October 2014
Suzy is a native of Renton where she attended Renton High school. She graduated from the University of Washington in Aeronautical Engineering and worked at Boeing for four years. She then pursued an accounting degree at the UW and worked as a public accountant until starting her family. She and her husband, Brian, have three children at SCS and attend Japanese Presbyterian church in Seattle. Suzy enjoys running, golf, and tennis.
Chris Glynn
Term ends Feb 2016
Chris holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. Chris is currently the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, GIK and U.S. Programs for WorldVision located in Federal Way, WA. Throughout his career, Chris has held a variety of executive leadership positions with large for profit and non-profit organizations.Chris and his wife, Chris, have two daughters currently enrolled at Seattle Christian. The Glynn's attend Grace Community Church in Auburn.
Jack Childress
Term ends October 2016
Jack holds a BS in Business from Southern Oregon State. Jack is a Technical Salesman for Christler Chemical & Plastics in Wilsonville, OR. Jack and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters enrolled at SCS. His family attends Christian Faith Church where Jack serves as a Deacon. Jack and his family enjoy many outdoor activities.
Mike Shimasaki
Term ends October 2016
Mike and his wife, Cindy, have two children at SCS. Mike is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a degree in Agricultural Economics as well as Managerial Economics. He is a Managing Director for ANP, LLC (a private investment partnership) and a Trustee/Manager for The Good Neighbor Foundation. He and his family attend Japanese Presbyterian Church in Seattle. Mike enjoys traveling, boating and motorsports.
